Firewatch/Holewatch- Temporary-H18-003-SRW

The position of Helper reports directly to the Supervisor or Lead Craft.  This position is a project based temporary position.

·         Helpers are required to help in keeping the job site clean. He/ She needs to ensure that there is no water clogging, waste products are disposed of properly and the tools and equipment are arranged appropriately after use

·         Assist in loading and unloading equipment and/or materials

·         Assist in various activities as assigned by Supervisor, Superintendent, Lead Craft or Project Manager

High school diploma or equivalent.  The job of Helper is a highly physically demanding job.  Must be able to, but not limited to, stand for extensive periods of time, bend, walking, climb, crawl, lift more than 50 pounds, stoop, carry and lift over items/materials over 50 pounds, and must be able to hear, speak and write.  Must have good listening skills.  Ability to perform tasks and resources assigned by supervision.  Maintain poise and focus under time constraint.
